We are changing... for a bit
Here at The Village Pottery there is some exciting news… Jen is having another baby!
While she is away the team will be taking over operations… so no need to panic just yet :)
However, we really appreciate all your support for us, especially over the past year, so we want to be honest with you.
With the combination of current restrictions limiting how our studio operates and our main lady taking a step back for a bit we have decided to make some changes. Although we don’t currently know how long this change will be for, we’re very excited about what these changes will allow us to do in the future.
Whats changing?
We will be reducing the regular stock we offer so it’s easier for the team to take over the running of things while Jen is away.
Along with a more curated selection of pieces, we’re simplifying our colour choices too. All pieces will be solely available in our popular Speckled Oatmeal clay. All glazes with exception of Raspberry Rust will remain.
We are moving to an in-stock business model.
The good news is this means we can keep on top of having our shop stocked up with pieces ready to go, no more long waits!
Please bear with us during this time as we sort out any hiccups that may pop up.
Which pieces will be staying?
We want to keep your favourites so we’ve distilled it down to the popular pieces - listed below
Can I still preorder?
Initially we are moving to an in-stock model to see how we get on with it, then if we feel we’ve got a good handle on this we may reintroduce pre-orders too.
How long do I have to order?
We wanted to give you enough time to get orders in if you had your eye on something that won’t be around anymore.
We will close orders for all other pieces midnight on Easter Sunday - 4th April.
If you’d like any pieces in our plain clay or Raspberry Rust glaze please make sure you place your order before this date as we will have to be pretty strict with cut off.
(please note: large orders or orders including plates or Raspberry Rust may be subject to delays as these take longer to get through the kilns)
