HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN ORDER TO BE READY?

We aim to have stock pieces ready to go but sometimes we need to glaze them so these should be ready in 1-2 weeks (can be longer in the colder months). If you have ordered a personalised/commissioned piece or dinner set these usually take 4-6 weeks to be ready for collection (allow 5-7 weeks for posting).

CAN YOU POST OUTSIDE OF THE UK?

Since 1st January 2021, shipping to the EU has changed.

Each country will have their own fees, please check you are happy with these before ordering as you will be responsible for the taxes or charges you may receive.

  • Orders between 10€ and 150€ customers are likely to be charged Import Tax and a handling fee.

  • Orders over 150€ customers are likely to be charged Import Tax, handling fee AND a Customs Charge. 

CAN I COLLECT MY POTTERY?

Yes, we’re happy for you to come collect your pottery from our studio. We will let you know when it is ready and when we are available for you to come by. Select “collection” at checkout.

How is my pottery sent?

We send most orders by royal mail second class. If your order is bigger (over 10kg) or being sent outside of the UK we will send it via courier with DHL.

What do I do if my pottery arrives damaged?

Although, we do our best to pack your pottery extremely carefully to ensure it arrives safely, unfortunately there is the rare occasion when you receive it in more pieces than it should be. If this happens please get in contact with images and your details to info@thevillagepottery.co.uk

CAN I RETURN MY ITEM/S?

We really hope you love our pottery and the quirks that come with it being handmade, however, if you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item/s to arrange a refund.

Please email info@thevillagepottery.co.uk stating the reason for return so we can improve your experience in the future.

Your item must be returned unused and in the same condition as when you received it.  It must be in its original packaging.

We will only refund the return shipping costs if the item is faulty, damaged or you were sent the wrong item.  

We are not responsible for items missing or damaged in transit; therefore, it is advised to obtain a proof of postage certificate and preferably return them 'tracked'.

Refunds will be sent to the original payment method once we have received and inspected the item.
